Background California Energy & Power (CE&P) has developed the first viable and proven industrial-grade Concentrated Controlled Wind (CCW that provides scalable wind energy electricity generation solutions to locations where large wind turbines are either undesirable or are not feasible. For the past eleven years the conceptual design was in a state of continual refinement and evolution. The current CALI e-Power 12 kW design is a culmination of fifteen years of an interactive steady improvement Kaizen design process. Much has been learned through the evolution to the current design CE&P has today. You can read more about our evolution here CE&P’s team are the leading experts in the developing small wind industry having worked together for the past 8 years. We have extensive engineering, company development, management, operations and global trade experience. Our one-year, two-phase project is focused on optimizing aerodynamic shapes of the final production design, dense-packed arrays of CE&P turbine clusters using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and high element modeling. How are we differentiating ourselves?
Our core patented concentrator design doubles the turbine’s efficiency relative to other small wind turbines. We generate sustainable electricity from the wind over the broadest range of wind conditions of all wind turbines currently on the market. Our simple Cali series wind turbine product line is designed with fewer components which translates into a dramatic reduction in O&M costs per kWh, autonomy of ownership, as well as increased profits for the operators. Additionally, the current Horizontal-Axis-Wind Turbines (HAWT) are restrictive in their deployment areas, while CE&P CCW turbine solution can be utilized in urban, rural and remote island locations. Our CCW turbines has a minimal impact on wildlife, shorter project inception to deployment time with increased efficiency.
