August 2017 CE&P PS2 Deployment After years of development and exhaustive modeling, California Energy & Power has deployed the CALI PS2 working commercial prototype located in Palm Springs, California. The turbine sits in one of the windiest places on earth with sustained winds between 25-35 mph.
June 2017 Trump. Windmills. Dead Birds. Solution. News station ABC 10 in Sacramento, California published a segment involving the deployment of our working commercial prototype. This segment was taken upon completion of building the first commercial prototype in Arnold, CA. This was just prior to shipment and deployment in Palm Springs, California where our testing site is located. Featured is Steve DiVito, member of the CE&P board. He talks about the specifics on how our turbine will save the lives of birds and even our most valuable bird, the bald eagle.
